HAMER -Services for John Evans Price will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday in Beulah Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Sunday in Cooper Funeral Home. Mr. Price, 81, died Saturday, October 14, 2006 in the McLeod Hospice House in Florence. Born in Robeson County, NC, June 3, 1925, he was the son of the late John Arthur Price and Mary Frances Hayes Price. He was a member of Beulah Baptist Church, and was a Farmer. He was the widower of the late Elizabeth Herring Price. Survivors include his children, Mary Alice McCrea of Little Rock, Evans Price, Jr. of Florence, Tommy Price of Hamer, Carolyn Price of Pamplico, Chuck Price of Charlotte, NC, Lewis Price of Hamer, Billy Price of Roxboro, NC, and Bobby Price of Hamer; sister, Sarah Grimes of Lumberton, NC; 17 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.
