Services for James Harold "Pollock" Niedenthal will be held 4:00 p.m. Friday in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Rest Haven Cemetery. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Thursday in Cooper Funeral Home. Mr. Niedenthal, 62, died Monday, October 16, 2006 in McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence. Born in Indiana, May 7, 1944, he was the son of the late Harold Niedenthal and Kathryn Louise Crist Niedenthal. He was a Truck Driver, member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Brookville, Indiana, and was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Betty Jackson Niedenthal of Latta; daughters, Kelly (Scott) Grey of Dillon, Marie Vallejos of Marion, and Doris Niedenthal of Dayton, Ohio; sons, Andy (Dottie) Niedenthal of Mullins, and Jimmy Niedenthal of Dayton, Ohio; sister, Patty (Frank) Ivey of Fortworth, Texas; grandchildren, Lacey, Christopher, Emily, Hannah, Courtney, and Dylan; great-grandchildren, K.P., Piper, and Phoebe.
