Services for Jimmy Horace Jones will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday at East Dillon Baptist Church with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Thursday in Cooper Funeral Home. Mr. Jones, 59, died Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at his residence after an illness. Born in Dillon County, SC, August 13, 1947, he was the son of Haley Herring Jones and the late Grady Horace Jones. He was a member of East Dillon Baptist Church, and was employed by Lockamy Scrap Metal. Survivors include his wife, Dottie H. Jones of Dillon; mother, Haley H. Jones of Dillon; son, Marshall (Kim) Jones of Dillon; daughters, Beth Jones Tyndall of Dillon, and Kelly (Chad) Smith of Dillon; sisters, Patricia J. (John) Anderson of Timmonsville, and Rebecca Jones Brady (Ashley) of Marion; brothers, Jerry (Sylvia) Jones, and Eddie (Dannette) Jones, both of Dillon; grandchildren, Blair Jones, Heather Tyndall, Hannah Carmichael, Morgan Tyndall, Preston Smith, and Justin Chavis.
