    3. I've scanned (and hopefully corrected the errors) another article. http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Hills/4197/lee-marr.html MARRIAGE RECORDS OF WILLIAM STATES LEE FROM 1816-1871 This transcription first appeared in the South Carolina Historical and Genealogical Magazine, Vol X - No 3, July 1909 p. 174 - 180. I believe St. Paul's Parish is the Adams Run area (Charleston County) between Jacksonboro and Edisto Beach (both in Colleton County). Let me know if you disagree about the location of the St. Paul's Parish area. (From Manuscript Loaned by Mr. Townsend Mikell of Edisto Island) Rev. Wm. States Lee, born 1793, died July 28, 1875, was pastor of the Presbyterian Churches at Dorchester and Beech Hill for the six years proceeding 1821, when he received a call to the Presbyterian Church of Edisto Island, where he remained, except for a short period during the War between the States, until his death, a term of fifty-two years. _______________________________________________________________ Get Free Email and Do More On The Web.
