Hi! I am new to the list, and I am in need of some help. I ordered my relatives military records and found that he died my accidental drowning in the Ashepoo River, It said Chapmans Fort. Can any body give me any history about this. He died July 16, 1864. I was wondering if anybody had cemetery listing for this area and if somebody could find an obit on him. I sure would appreciate any help I can get. He was in the 2nd South Carolina Cav. Unit Co. A His name was John E. Rhame/Rhaime Thanks Ginger [email protected]
