My great grandparents Joseph Jackson b1815 and wife Rachel Unknown b abt 1815. They married about 1831 probably in St. Bartholomew Parrish, Colleton Co. They had a son named Thompson. It dawned on me today Rachel might well have been Rachel Thompson. They were on the 1850 Colleton Co Census. If any of you have Thompson surnames and could help me or if you have census info available that might check on this for me. Marriage data would also be wondeful too.
