I wish that I could be direct help to you, but do know of the CANNADY family sometimes spelled Kennedy in early records of Richmond County, VA. I was interested in them as I am trying to find the parents of my JANE BLUFORD and though' she married JAMES SPENCE in Augusta County, VA, I see the Blufords in Richmond County, VA. I think the immigrant was George Cannady who married Mary Bluford and raised their family in Richmond. My prime interest in Colleton County concerns my Middleton-Jones family but have little luck.
