Isaac and Ann Elizabeth lived in Colleton County SC, as did Isaac's father, and as did many of their descendants (and perhaps many descendants still do). I am not sure of the home county of Ann Elizabeth's parents. I think the Polk family were in old St Bartholomew's Parish (does that make sense?) and many of the children of Isaac and Ann Elizabeth were in Islandton in Colleton County.
