I have my 4th greatgrandmother , MARY LOGAN ( 1764-1814) in Scotland who came to VA at age 12. She said she would only marry a man from Scotland and did this when she met THOMAS MORTON (1762-1810) in Williamsburg VA. After he died the widow moved to Berkeley which is now Portmouth VA. My connection is from a daughter JANE MORTON who married RICHARD DALLAM TOY from Norfolk. The TOYS had sons, Joseph and Thomas and one daughter, MARY ANNE TOY. Can you give me any hints or suggestions to find the parents of THOMAS MORTON and MARY LOGAN? I will appreciate any help.
