John H. and Emma HARRISON had a dau. Matilda HARRISON b.c. 1865 Adams Run, Colleton Co, SC. Matilda married: 1st J. H. PENDARVIS of Colleton Co; 2nd John Henry SHOKES b. 1854 Charleston. John Henry SHOKES' 1st wife was Josephine JOHNSTON b. 1857. Matilda and J. H. PENDARVIS had the following children: Daniel P PENDARVIS ; b. Mar 1884 Lillie PENDARVIS ; b. Feb 1886; m. S Clifton SHOKES George R PENDARVIS ; b. Feb 1890 James A PENDARVIS ; b. Dec 1892 Joseph F PENDARVIS ; b. Feb 1894; d. 2 Jun 1920 Chas. 1870 CHARLESTON CITY DIRECTORY HARRISON, J K; c., 31 Bogard St. HARRISON, Matilda; c., school, 31 Bogard St. In Land Deeds of J H HARRISON, I have found the following names: Laura HARRISON, J S PENDARVIS, and Matilda HARRISON regarding land in Mauss Hill Plantation, Adams Run, Colleton Co, SC. The last deed granting 15 acres in Adams Run to Pompey JENKINS, dated 1893, has J H HARRISON's residence as Charleston. Josephine JOHNSTON and Matilda HARRISON were suppose to be related. Matilda was also part Native American. Any info is Welcomed ~
