Where did you get the receipt? I'm looking for information on my grandfather Thomas Stephens (black) who was in Hendersonville, and have been able to find nothing except the listing of him, his wife and children on the 1920 census. As I do have copies of a few pages from that area and areas close to it, what are some of the other names you're researching, and I'll keep my eyes open. Good Luck!
