I am looking for detailed information on BOTH owners and slaves of Round O Plantation. Anyone with records, photos, stories, or ANY information on Round O--from any perspective--please contact me! 2) Any information on the family of John Malichi Stanfield b: March 24, 1821 3) Any information on John M. Stanfield's wife Sara (?). Was she Cherokee Indian? 4) Any information on Jesse Thomas (Simmons) Williams,born in Walterboro, Colleton Co. in 1838. Jesse's mother was Fereba (?). She married a Williams after the death of her 1st Husband, last name SIMMONS, with whom she had had Jesse. Jesse reared as a Williams and served in CSA cavalry. A researcher believes Simmons 1st name may have been Benjamin. Jesse Thomas Williams married Henrietta Stanfield. I am currently researching these items for a book I am writing on plantation life in pre-Civil War times.
