    3. ELIZABETH RISHER JAQUES PUZZLE: Is she the granddaughter of Benjamin Risher and Mary Fontaine, and daughter of Richard and Mary Ruth Huff Risher? I have been looking for the parents of Elizabeth Risher Jaques for sometime and these are some of my notes. From my census findings and the Land Transfer that I found, I believe that Richard and Mary R. Risher are the parents of Elizabeth. B. Risher, Sr., Mrs. Mary Risher, aged eighty-eight years. She had been a member of the M.E. Church, South, for about seventy years. Old age had not dimmed her intellect or affected her natural senses, and better still, it had not soured her disposition or dampened her religious ardor. Instead it mellowed her, and she ripened as the years went by. Gentle, cheerful, pleasant in her intercourse with all, simple as a little child in her faith and trust in God. truly a mother in Israel is gone. We shall miss the benedictions of her presence. L.C.
