There are dozens of Bentos in the 1880 census - they fill whole pages. Can you please give more details as to whom you are referring to? E.g. name, age, which family in 1880, census page #, etc. Thanks, John Sullivan -----Original Message----- From: GrdngrnnyS@aol.com [mailto:GrdngrnnyS@aol.com] Sent: Monday, April 12, 2004 6:15 AM To: SCCOLLET-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [SCCOLLET] Benton and Wells Family This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Our Great-Grandfather was a Wells and our Great-Grandmother was a Benton. We have found them and their children listed in the 1880 Allendale/Barnwell Census. ==== SCCOLLET Mailing List ==== Visit Colleton Co SCGenWeb - http://www.patsabin.com/colleton/ Donate transcriptions of your old documents to the Colleton Co SCGenWeb http://www.patsabin.com/colleton/genconnect.htm ============================== Gain access to over two billion names including the new Immigration Collection with an Ancestry.com free trial.
