My mother-in-law, said that her father, James doesn't have a marker, that he's buried next to a church under a big oak tree. Sometimes I think all cemeteries have big oak trees, so that's not much help, but again there can't be that many older churches in Ruffin. I'm still sure that it must have been a family plot, otherwise, why would he be shipped from Florida to Sc for burial? Hopefully, when I get up there I will find the poor man.
