I'm researching my white family with surname of JACQUES (JAKES, JAQUES)in Colleton County. Some of my JACQUES (JAKES, JAQUES) family moved to Georgia between 1880 and 1888. My Mary B. BROWN was born 1758 in North Carolina, daughter of Hugh BROWN and Mary BUIE who was born in Scotland. Mary B.
