As a new member to the list, I am trying to locate information about cemeteries near the town of Ridgeville in Colleton Co. My GGGrandfather Thomas Measels lived on Four Hole Swamp, Timothy Branch and while I believe he was living in Charleston Co, Ridgeville was the closest town or community. He died in approx 1840 and his wife Martha Jane(UNK) Measels married Peter W Peagler after his death and the family moved to Rankin Co, MS before the census was taken in 1850. Thanks for any help!
