It still brings tears to my eyes thinking of our loved ones that we consider 'gone but not forgotten' only to discover their graves are in such bad shape. I plan to go to AL this summer and do some cemetery cleanups and add a few markers. As the generations moved on, the heirs opted not to spend any more money than necessary, so I have a few that never had a marker, but luckily, the cemetery was old enough to have the records, so I did find some in family plots, yet unmarked. These were aunts and uncles, but still kin. When I think of what my grandfathers passed down, and what they sacrificed to do this, it breaks my heart to know that others reaping the benefits could care less about the condition of their final resting place. I intend to check into the Pon Pon project and will do what I can to help. Thank you Mary
