Do you know who Adam CARTER married and who were his parents? I will definitely check him out as I do believe that something happened to cause my great grandfather David Adam CARTER and brother Wiley to be sent to GA with an uncle during or right after the war. Also, do you know who the CARTER is, that Rebecca BOATWRIGHT, daughter of J.C.D. BOATWRIGHT married? I had been seriously looking at her as she has a son David and a son Wiley, also a daughter Mary Jane. David Adam CARTER named his oldest daughter Mary Jane (my great anut Jane) and his second oldest daughter Catharine Rebecca (my great aunt Kate). My grandfather was his second oldest son, James Samuel CARTER, Sr. I have been trying to crack the brick wall of who my CARTER gggrandparents are for amost 2 yrs. now.
