I am researching the ancestors and descendants of Thomas H WATTS b 1805 and Rosa J HELTON b 1838. Thos H WATTS was s/o Thomas Watts and Lavinia HUNTLEY of Anson and Union Co, NC. Rosa's parents are unknown to me at this time. They were married in 1859. Due to the age difference between the 2 of them and the fact that most men married before the age of 54, I suspect that Thomas H Watts may have a previous marriage. Thos and Rosa lived in the Mt Croghan section of Chesterfield Co. Their descendants went to other parts of Chesterfield Co, as well as York Co, Lancaster Co, Arkansas, and other places.
