    1. Re: [SCCHESTERFIELD] Hannah Jane Freeman
    2. Greetings! I'm so glad you're happy with the info I sent recently. My Grandmother knew Hannah Jane and I had heard her speak of Hannah Jane and Uncle Will. My Grandmom was Emily Jane Eddings born 29 June 1898 in Society Hill, S.C. Her parents were James Ellis Eddings and Flarah Ann Watson. Flarah Ann Watson's parents were William David Watson, Sr. and Annie Mariah Byrd. My sources for names and dates were as follows: William Watson's Family Bible in the possesion of my Grandmom David Watson's Family Bible viewed at residence of James Watson, Darlington, S.C. on 16 July 1975: Births: Hannah Jane Freeman Watson - 20 March 1873 Joel Aston Freeman - 4 Oct 1897 Arthur Freeman - 11 April 1902 Luther Emere Freeman - 29 June 1902 Jeams Everin Freeman - 12 Sept 1904 Maud Elen Freeman - 15 April 1910 Marriages: Willie D. Watson to Hannah Jane Freeman - 6 Nov 1892 Deaths: Martha Freeman died 30 March 1919 Miney Edwards - 5 Feb 1909 Hannah Jane Watson departed this life 14 December 1906 Luther Emere Freeman departed this life 20 Dec 1905 There were many more names and dates but I don't know if you have them or need them. My other big source was the internet: familysearch.org I was doing a search for William Watson and was bored on finding nothing new so went on to relatives. That is how I came up with Hannah's info. The submitters for the info were: 1. William Glenn Freeman 114 Harlington Dr.(spelling?) Hartsville, S.C. 29550 2. Hannah Jane Wadell 232 Ebernezer Rd.(spelling?) Darlington, S.C. 29532 3. JoAnn Hampton 4046 Shell Point Road Beaufort, S.C. 29906 It must be fun compiling a book! I do have more info about the Watsons. Shy of pictures. Would love to have some! I have pictures of my Grandmom as a young girl but nothing else. Think Mom has a picture of David Watson. Will check when I go home in July. Grandmom's relatives borrowed pictures and unfortunately they weren't returned. But may have picture of her Uncle Will. My name is Janie Ruth Mills Freeman. My husband's ancestors go from N.J. to Ohio, Grandmom tried to connect them but impossible! I was born in Cheraw, S.C. My husband was a wildlife biologist for the Dept. of Interior before retirement and I'm a retired teacher. We live in Salt Lake City, UT. Will be in S.C. in July for a few days. Thanks for the info abt William. None of us had gotten past that point. Do you have the dates for William and Elizabeth Turnage? Let me know. I'll look them up. Apologize for making this so long but getting ready to leave for Minnesota and will be offline for a few weeks. Wonderful chatting with another researcher! Happy Hunting! Ruth
