Her father was John H. Griggs born Abt. 1808 & mother as Suddy Chapman b. Abt. 1809. All lived in Society Hill, Chesterfield County, SC. Their son Calhoun Griggs Wilks b. 21 Nov 1859 married (1) Jane C. Campbell b. Abt 1861d. 5 Oct 1884 (2) Mary Ann Brown b. 22 Oct 1871 and their youngest daughter Roxie Mae Wilks b. (my grandmother) b.23 Jul 1894 d. 27 Feb 1961 married John Hampton Wallace b.14 Aug 1878 d.17 Apr 1931. There is probably some connection. Karol - twostuarts@yahoo.com
