My Watts family is probably connected in some way to the thomas Watts that lived in Monygomery Co NC around 1830 near the Pee Dee river. Also living nesr by was Moses Watts (my line ) amd Sampson Watts. Moses disapeared after 1850 but Sampson and his family show up in Alabamba on 1860 census.. Enoch Watts is a common name in my family and there was also an Enoch Watts on the 2850/1860 Rowan Co NC census. They all give their children similar names and am sure there is some connection , but hav'nt made it yet.
