There are quite a few Wilks buried in the Wilkes Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery on Wilkes Chapel Road at the intersection of State road 13-29 and State road 13-493. There is also a Wilkes Cemetery south of Patrick. Other cemeteries in Chesterfield County have Wilkes burials. The Gulledges seem to have mostly been Baptist with a few exceptions. Many cemeteries in Chesterfield County and Anson County N.C. have Gulledge burials.
