    2. Lonnie Jermaine Reid Lonnie Jermaine Reid, 19, of Jefferson, died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2002. A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15 from Mt. Canaan Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Mr. Reid was a son of Lonnie Chambers and Peggy A. Reid. Surviving are his parents; three sisters, Tiffany Reid, Cherrie Rivers and Amber Bennett; his grandparents, Alice Adams and Irene Chambers; four uncles, four aunts; and one niece. A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23 from Welch Neck Baptist Church with the Rev. Tom Rutan and the Rev. John Hamilton officiating. Burial followed in Harris Creek Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Pee Dee. Born in Darlington County, Mr. Keith was a son of Eloise Oakley Hicks and the late Clarence Monroe Keith. He was employed with J. A. Jones Co. Surviving are his mother of Society Hill; two brothers, Clarence Alvin Keith of Bleaton, Va., and Larry D. Keith of Society Hill; three sisters, Everlyn J. Adams of Darlington, Melinda K. Hall of Society Hill, and Judy K. Hall of Society Hill; two stepbrothers, Joe Moree of Hartsville and Henry Moree of Society Hill; and two stepsisters, Betty J. James of Cash and Shirley M. Allen, 80, of Chesterfield, died Friday, Jan. 18, 2002. A graveside funeral service was held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20 in Long Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. Born in Jefferson, Mrs. Allen was a daughter of the late Eustis Walker and Martha Gathings Miles. She was a retired beautician and was first married to the late Clarence T. Watkins and then to the late Arthur L. Allen. Surviving are a sister, Estelle M. Hilton of Chesterfield; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. A funeral service was held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20 from Brown Springs Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Brown Springs Baptist Church Building Fund. Born in Chesterfield County, Mr. Teal was a son of the late Lee and Rosa Gainey Teal. Surviving are his wife, Aileen Huggins Teal of Hartsville; two sons, William Harvey (Bennie Lou) Teal of Hartsville and Buck (Bernice) Teal of Patrick, four daughters, Helen (J. D.) Perdue, Ethelene Tyner and Evelyn (Larry) Hemminger, all of Patrick, and Peggy (Roy) Hill of Society Hill; a stepson, James (Betty) Adams of Atlanta, Ga.; three stepdaughters, Mildred Lunn, Jeanette (Wayne) Gainey and Jewel (Jimmy) Campbell, all of Hartsville; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 11 step-grandchildren; 13 step-great- grandchildren; and two step-great-great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ethel Hobie Tyner Teal; a daughter, Louise Teal; a sister, Amanda Teal; and a grandson, William Coleman Teal. A funeral service was held at 3:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14 from Triumph Church. Burial followed in Fisher Hill Cemetery. Born in Cheraw, Master Rivers was a son of Tracey M. Rivers and Thomas D. Rivers. He attended Cheraw Primary School. Surviving are his parents of Cheraw; a brother, Quentin Sanders; two sisters, Tanisha Janai Sanders and Nia Yarnell Sanders of Cheraw; two grandmothers, Mary McClendon of Roosevelt, N.Y. and Dorothy Rivers of Cheraw a grandfather, Ray McCray of Philadelphia; a great-grandmother, Mary H. Sanders of Cheraw; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Thomas Rivers of Cheraw.
