    3. Know you're on your trip, but thought I'd let you know, Richard Lee got all your family info in Va. visiting your relatives. I already have you in my PAF file! this is so neat. I even have a chart of your family on my wall to keep it straight, as Richard had the info and to keep it straight, as I didn't know of your side. would love to have a picture of your family to put in the book!. Would love to know when you'll be in SC in July. Have pictures Ric. took of Sarah Jane and Grace w/ their grands in front of their homes.and one of Annie Bell in long skirt. I'll be back June 12. How is Joel, Arthur,etc.. connected to Hannah Jane? I'm working on connecting this info for the descendants of Hannah Jane's children,as they feel sort of lost with no info on their real Grdmo or grt. grandmo. We have 1 picture of Hannah Jane in a large hat w/ Will. 1. [SCCHESTERFIELD] Memorial Weekend Special
    2. Bill Hughes
    3. I first want to apologize to those who receive this posting more than once, as I am cross posting it. I could very well be stepping in over my head here, but if everybody co-operates, I'm hoping that it will go ok and a lot of info can get moved around. I have the 1880 Federal Census for SC, and will ''try'' to do lookups. There are some ground rules, tho: 1- One ''full'' name request per e/mail 2- A date of birth or approximate age at 1880 3- The county would be helpful, especially on more common names 4- NO blanket requests for any surname[s] 5- Do NOT include a lot of family history......it's not necessary If y'all can follow these simple guidelines, then I will try to keep up. Failure to follow them will mean that the e/mail will simply be deleted. Sorry, but I expect a bunch of folks to jump on this. Another thing, since this is Memorial Weekend, please remember to pay tribute to those veterans in your families. If you have a website where you have them listed, let the rest of us know so that we can take a looksee, too. If any of you are interested, go to my website [URL below] and scroll down to ''Special honor and Recognition" and click on the blue button directly underneath......."Veterans Honor Roll". Have a safe and enjoyable weekend. Bill http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~bhughes/

    2. Bill- Even though Appleton's Genealogy Bookstore in Charlotte is closing their retail store, they will still be selling Genealogy books on the Internet. Their website URL is http://www.appletons.com/ They have a CD: Census View: 1790 for the entire state of South Carolina. It is number 60 on the South Carolina list and the product number is CV6078. It sells for $39.95. Number 62 on this same list is the 1790 Census of South Carolina, Heads of Families at the First Census of the United States taken in the Year 1790. I think this is probably the one that you have completely worn out. The product number is SH8589 and it sells for $28.50. I am sure that there are other Genealogy Bookstores that have the bookform and the CD of the 1790 South Carolina Census, but I personally know Jennifer and Blain Schmidt that own and operate Appleton's Genealogy Bookstore and they are very helpful and completely professional. I always go to them first when shopping for South Carolina (in general) Genealogy books. Good Luck- Sharon F. 3. So excited to hear from you . One other person answered w/ Hannah's parents, but you have so much. My grandfather married Hannah Jane and when she died he married my grandmother and she raised those children and had 12 for him. I've been compiling a family history book and family members have been paying me my expenses. It has brought us together and compiled all out info. the grandchildren from Hannah didn't even know her parents and we only have one picture. they are going to be so excited ,as their part of the book was very lean. Our info after William Watson is only his father, George Watso, Jr. and G. W., Sr. no wives. Betsy Turnage, father William B. Turnage, no more. Any you could share would be great. We have found and shared some great photos of William David,Jr. and Sr,would be glad to share w/ you. My mother was Bernice Watson, dgt. of Will Watson,Jr. and Anna Haney.Anna's sister, Jane married Pete Freeman. Where do yo live and what is your name, and what kin are you? I live in Andrews SC for the present, but go to Hartsville at least once a month, missed the cemetary reunion this year.Would love to meet you. Unless we already know each other and don't know it. 2. Bill Hughes
    3. I apologize to those who will see this more than once, but I am cross-posting. I am looking for ''someplace'' to purchase the 1790 Census for the entire state of SC. I want the transcribed and indexed version in hardback. I have what is left of one, but I have discovered that it is missing some sections, and is beginning to fall apart. I do a lot of lookups in my books for folks, and really need a new one from somewhere. Thank you. Bill
