Linda, the only mention of Robert Coulter in Stephenson's book about this group is as an owner of land bordering that granted to Robert Jamieson. This does not necessarily mean Robert was not part of the group. Some passengers from the "5 ships" were able to buy land rather than getting it free from the Council, and so they are not recorded in the Council Minutes, which was the major source for the book.
