Michael, My Rock family intermarried with a McGarrity family back in Ireland prior to the revolution. Here is a partial record of a Greatgrandaughter of John Rock who got this information from her grandmother Sarah Rock Stevenson in the early 1870s.. I also remember from my Grandmother (Sarah Rock) that the Wiers-Littles-McGarries-Donleys and Ewings were all cousins of either John Rock or Catherine McClellan, also Catherine McCleallan was on the same Family Tree as General McClellan of historic note.
