Thanks to everyone for your reply. The problem must be on my computer, as no one else has reported to me that they are/were getting the double messages. Some have suggested that I wasn't looking at the heading, but I was; all double identical messages came from the Spartanburg list, and Nancie was not the only person that I received double messages from. For the present, things seem to be back to normal, as I got a single message from all members of the Spartanburg list who responded. Jim Webb
