I am looking for information on the William Embracure found in the 1790 Chester County, SC, census. Minimal googling reveals that Embracure is not a viable surname, so I'm wondering if this William Embracure in Chester County in 1790 is the same person as the William Emberson found in Kershaw County in 1800.
