Looking for information on the Elizabeth Elliott who was head of household in the 1810 and 1820 census, apparently a widow. Also looking for info on son of Daniel Elliott of Fishing Creek, Daniel, Jr, born 26 Mar 1767. Does anyone know who he married? Thanks, Sandra
In the Book, Women of the American Revolution, Vol 3, pg 227-228. It talks about a Daniel Elliot of Fishing Creek community. It talks about his son Ebenezer and daughter Margaret. It does not mention his wifes name. In the story it talks about Daniel being shot dead. His daughter standing up to the murderers that killed for father. The murderers were tories. Based on the chapter this took place between 1780 & 1781.
