My Mother's McKeown Ancestors migrated from Chester County, SC to Gadsden County, Florida about 1845. I have been researching the McKeown and related families for many years, and I have acquired a great deal of genealogical information. If you have any McKeown connections, I will most likely have something to share. I have 654 McKeown Surnamed individuals who trace their ancestry back to Chester County. A brick wall for me has been Charles Christopher "CC" Chambers, born about 1816 in NC, but most likely lived or passed through Chester County on his was to Florida about 1845.
