Butch, Weir has not appeared in any thing that I have found connected to my Hugh and Elizabeth Ross, Abraham and Mary Jane family. If I ever do come cross the Weir name I will let you know. My Hugh Ross family came from Ireland to Chester Co. SC in 1772 Have no idea how many other Ross families there may have been in Chester and surrounding counties, but several I imagine. Good luck unraveling, I seem to always be in a state unraveling! Franki
