    3. Hello all, A researcher requested a search for the surname REED Here are the results from the will books we have presently completed; to see the time frame the specific will book covers, and surnames list for each will book, please visit our web page. Page numbers reflect "our" transcribed will books not the courthouse will books page numbers. We do transcribe the wills completely (not abstracts), and give book and page number from original books and microfilms for each will. The wills are from the typed clerk's copy from the 1930's not the handwritten originals; you would have to contact the county clerks' office to see if the originals are available to obtain copies. You could check with Charleston County library downtown for the wills. [Note: We just completed the Chester Co., SC Will Books B thru E they will not show up in the search engine.] Sincerely, Bushy Hartman Dead Serious Genealogy http://deadseriousgenealogy.com <http://deadseriousgenealogy.com/> web page link Chester Co., SC Will Books B thru E Reed, Elisabeth.24 Reed, Hugh.24 Kershaw Co., SC Will Books C's Reed, Mrs.65 Kershaw Co., SC Will Books G-P Reed, Geo.11 Kershaw Co., SC Will Book A Reed, Robert.217,265 Reid, Alexander.51 Reid, James.51 Richland Co., SC Will Books B-D Reed, Richd.44 Sumter Co., SC Will Book A Reed, Horace.283 Charleston Co., SC Will Books 1729-1733 Reed, Thomas.35 _____ From Sent: Thursday, February 02, 2006 12:37 PM To: Bushy Hartman Subject: Re: Kershaw County, SC surnames in early SC wills I'm not certain how many names I can submit at one time so have listed the ones in which I'm interested in the order of preference.
