    3. I saw this on the Bradley County, Arkansas Rootsweb and thought maybe it might be of interest to Chester County, S.C. as so many of the Bradley County settlers came from Chester County. Carolina to Bradley Co. and settling in the area of Hickory Springs Church. > This information was taken from the History of Neely's Creek ARP church 1787-1987. > " > "In Nov 1856 there was an exodus of a number of members to Arkansas to settle in the "new country. About ten families of Lesslies, Davises, Cambells, and Kenmours made the trip, arriving in Arkansas in 1857" (Page 3) > > (Page 166) "Some of the fifteen families who went to Arkansas were: Crawford, Dickey, Leslie, Wylie, Milholland, Thompson, Simpson, Lathan, Kenmore, Davis and Stewart." > Some of these families went to Shady Grove church.
