To Lena, and List, In the early 1800's, Chester County, there was some connections between the Boyd's and the Elliotts, are you familiar with where these people vanished to from Chester County around 1820-30? Paul [email protected]_ (mailto:[email protected])
Paul, I do not know about the Eliotts, but I feel safe in saying the Boyd's moved to various areas here in Georgia. William & Keziah moved to DeKalb County, their son Milton moved to Meriwether County a bit farther south (believe this is because Jane's parents moved there). I believe William & Keziah's other children stayed around them. Exactly how many children William & Keziah had I am unsure of, but they had more than the two listed in their separate pension applications for the census records indicate this-just wish I could find that absolute proof Milton was one of them as it appears he was (but alas the search is part of genealogy that keeps us going :) ).
