Do you have Coat(e)s in the SC area? Which area or county? We believe Notley Coats and Charles Coats were from Frederick County MD and the name was spelled Coarts in MD...Notley w Franky lived and he died in Chester County SC.... But we have a lot of loose ends out of South Carolina...just not enough documentation to make a lot of solid connections there....
