At time of her death there were two surviving children, William Adair and Catharine Wallace. Hope this helps Shirley G. Hamilton
My great great grandfather William ADAIR was born in 1781. His father probably was also William ADAIR, and very well may have fought at Camden. Certainly there was a William ADAIR at Camden, and he had an adopted son who was a prominent soldier in the SC Militia. But I've never seen proof that this William is my ancestor. -------------- Original message from shirley <shirley@greenvillenc.com>: -------------- > > > -----Original Message----- > >From: dmh8620@bellsouth.net > >Sent: Nov 24, 2008 11:05 AM > >To: SCCHEST2@rootsweb.com > >Subject: [SCCHEST2] SCHEST2 Thanksgiving > > >My great great grandfather, William ADAIR and his parents.
