I was at a meeting of the PeeDee Historical Society in Marion SC a few Sundays ago. The guest speaker was Dr. Steven D. Tuttle of the SC Archives. >From my understanding of what he told us; only about 10% of the information that they have is on line at this time. He also said that most of the counties had made copies that had been given to them BUT that some counties retained their records at the county level. So not only is only a portion on line at this time but some of it may still be in the county.
