    1. [SCCHEST2] Gwin buried at Woodward Baptist Church
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: TheBearsDen1944 Surnames: Gwin, Whitted, Phillips, Griffith Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.southcarolina.counties.chester/4117/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I am looking for a tombstone transcription for Gideon Malory Gwin and Nancy Adeline Phillips Gwin. Gideon died prior to death certificates, I think but I found one for Nancy. Hers gives birth as Sept 13, 1850, death as July 24, 1927, daughter of George W. Phillips and Sarah Griffith, and says she was buried at Woodward. I am assuming that Gideon was buried there also. Gideon was the son of Richard Gwin and Mary Whitted originally of Chester and later York Co. He was the grandson of Thomas Gwin and Gideon Whitted. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
