Hi List: I am searching for the marriage, and possible baptisms of the children, of Thomas Cobean(Cabeen), and Effy(Effie) Unknown, ca 1772. I believe Thomas (09 Oct 1801) and Effy (08 Jun 1827) are buried in "Old Purity Presbyterian Church". I would appreciate feedback on the following: 1) Does Old Purity still exist ? 2) Are there Registers existing for births, marriages and deaths there ? 3) Is there an on line register of the Head Stones @ Old Purity ? 4) Would it be possible to get a photo of the Head Stone(s) for Thomas and Effy ? 5) Would it be possible to locate the marriage for Thomas and Effy ? 6) I believe their oldest son, Alexander, was born ca 1774, thus I would anticipate their marriage ca 1774. 7) I believe Thomas moved south from Pennsylvania, some time after 1765, but do not have a more accurate date. Is it possible to obtain a more accurate date when Thomas arrived in Chester, and obtained his farm ? Regards Jim White Naples, Florida
