He md 2- Nancy Agnes Cochran probably in Philadelphia but possibly in SC where he moved. He and Nancy who was about 20 yrs younger than he had about 10 children, only 5 that I've identified and she helped raise some of the children from the first marriage. Someone reported that he fought in the Revolutionary War, but I have not been able to document this. There was a David Hunter who enlisted in MA, but I'm not sure this isn't a different person, so I'm still looking. Perhaps he had moved to SC by that time (1770-1780s). David and his second wife Nancy Agnes Cochran Hunter, based on children's places of birth, are thought to have lived in Chester Co., SC and/or Lancaster, SC. He d. about 1809 and is likely buried in one of these two counties. If you can help, please reply. Thanks, Lana Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
