She was the d/o Joseph Adam Thompson and Laura Elizabeth Devore Thompson Moyer. Joseph was killed in the Civil War. Joseph was the son of John Theodeus Thompson (b Sweden) and Margaret Eve Gable of Lexington SC. According to the family Bible, Joseph and Laura Elizabeth m 11 Feb 1849 and John T and Margaret Eve were m 21 Jun 1825 by Rev. Drehr in Lexington, SC.
