I found a David Hunter in the Deed Index who sold land to George Allen in 1797 [vol F p.81] and to George Ross in 1798 [vol. F p.210]. In 1803 Agnes Hunter obtains or gives a mortgage with Robert Roberson [vol J p.22]. Perhaps David Hunter had just deceased? I am not able to look up these deeds, but perhaps somone else would be able to look up these records for you. I just happened to have the Index page with their names on it.
