Seeking information on my g, grandmother Sarah Malinda Jones who married my G, grandfather in Gilmer Co. Ga in 1856. Sarah was born in S.,C. and had several siblings born there also before her family moved on to Ga. It is believed her father was Aires Jones and her mothers name was Susan. He was a farmer. He could have come to S.C. from N.C. He was on the 1850 and 1860 Ga. Gilmer Co. Census and then just disappeard.
