Born in Gaffney, he was the husband of Teresa Cash Love and son of Marvin Edgar Love and Ella J. McSwain Love. He was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church at Crowders Mountain and was a forklift operator at Overnite. He was a member of Masonic State Line Lodge No. 375 and the Grover Volunteer Fire Department. Also surviving are a son, Forest Daniel Love of Blacksburg; a daughter, Cristy Love Ramsey of Plano, Tex.; a granddaughter; and a brother, Edgar Leroy Love. Graveside services with masonic rites will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Vernon Craig. Pallbearers will be Alan Crouch, Robert Clark, Rodney Burnette, Steve Granger, Mike Martin and Richard Jones. The family is at the residence and will receive friends tonight from 7-9 at Gordon Mortuary. Memorials may be made to Antioch Baptist Church, 839 Antioch Rd., Blacksburg, S.C. 29702.
