She married James Haden (Bud)Henderson. Bud was the son of John Henderson and Sarah Ann McKinney who lived in Spartanburg County, S. C. Wessie lived around the Battleground, in Cherokee County, S. C. They had the following children: 1. Estelle Henderson born Oct. 1, 1915 died 28, 1997 married 1st. Marvin Lester Blackwell 2nd. Amos Tillman Fowler. 2. John Robert Henderson born August 6, 1917 died April 20, 1963. 3. Wilbert Henderson born April 22, 1919 died Dec. 22, 1919. 4. Sister Henderson born August 11, 1920 died August 11, 1920. 5, Earl Simms Henderson born April 5, 1922 died May 3, 1992, married Virginia Blackwell on Nov. 9, 1940. 6, Marie Henderson born June 6, 1924, married Nirome Pinkey (Snow) Henson on Jan. 2, 1943. 7, Harley J. Henderson born June 5, 1926 married Audrey Lucille Jolley on July 9, 1948. 8. Buster Henderson born Dec. 19, 1928 married Mary Frances Shaw on Oct. 1, 1949. 9. Ruth Henderson born June 25, 1931 married Raymond Owens on July 1, 1976. 10. Paul Winford Henderson born August 8, 1936 married Marilyn Louanne Cash on June 30, 1961.
