One was St. John - Colleton and the other was St. John - Berkeley. Each of these was in coastal South Carolina not very far from Charleston. The area that is present Cherokee County South Carolina was a part of the Upper District (except for the portion east of Broad River which was part of York District. There is a Saint John's community in present Berkeley County and a Saint John's crossroad in Williamsburg County.
