Guyton,…” G.L. 6/15/1906 Guyton, Julia page 14 – “The roll of honor for the Blacksburg Graded School is made up of pupils who were present every day during the scholastic month and averaged 90 or over on deportment and studies pursued. They are: 9th grade – Dot Urquhart; 8th grade - Whiteford Duncan; 6th grade – Sallie Davidson, Julia Guyton, Bessie Rose Whisonant, Mamie Gaston and Ethel Maxwell…” G.L. 1/6/1898 Found this entry on page 153: “The following endorsed N.W. McDaniel, Kings Creek.” G.L. 6/16/1905 McDaniel, M.A. page 3 “M.A. McDaniel is a Jewelry dealer at Kings Creek.” G.L. 3/4/1897 McDaniel, Riley page 25 “The daughter of William Mullinax, of the Kings Creek neighborhood, started from her home to a neighbor’s house and had not gone far when she met a bench legged feist dog that displayed evidences of hydrophobia. She started back home and was pursued by the dog, which chased her about four hundred yards. Just as she entered the door, the dog reached the steps. Mullinax, Riley McDaniel, Noah Wisher, and Wm.
