I am trying to trace a Jordan family in Cherokee Co, NC. My information is sketchy at this point. What I have is: Katie had a daughter Lillie Ward (b Feb 16, 1865, NC). Lillie married Mr. Jordan. They had at least two children: Jake Arthur and John Mauldin. Lillie married Calvin H. Bishop about 1896. Lillie died April 29, 1941 in Murphy, Cherokee Co, NC and is buried at the Harshaw Methodist Cemetery in Murphy. Lillie was supposedly Cherokee Indian. I know this does not connect to you Julius Martin Jordan that I know of. Hope it might help.
